Artificial always imitates and is substitute. It’s obvious that an artificial product would be more appealing but can they perform or outweigh a natural product? Although the same word “artificial” when pooled with human intellect or “intelligence” in a form of technology is proving to be a better exhibiter, more agile, capable to handle humungous data a better performer.

Intelligence can be defined in many ways: the logical aptitude, self-awareness, emotional awareness, reasoning, creativity, critical thinking and problem solving. An ability to acquire and apply knowledge and skills made or produced by human brain comes within the domain of AI.

It’s estimated that each person on an average curate or use 1.7MB of data in every second. A decade back hardly some wired and unwired device were connected. Today all the limits have been broken to build a network of “anything” or “everything”. Imagine a device which can’t be sensed or tapped for collecting information.

Evolution of AI
Development of computer systems is to facilitate or perform tasks normally requiring human intelligence, as
• visual perception,
• speech recognition,
• decision-making,
• and translation between languages

Humans have always fancied in building products or solutions which brings affluence. Abacus to calculator to computer all of them are befitting examples. Humans then created a technology that allows computers and machines to function in an intelligent manner. “Artificial Intelligence”, its objective was to create Expert systems and to Implement Human Intelligence in Machines

What Necessitates AI
Researchers in artificial intelligence are harnessing the explosion of digital data and computational power with advanced algorithms to enable collaborative and natural interactions between people and machines that extend the human ability to sense, learn and understand.

Communication is an influential aspect of human life. The developments in communication are as inherent as the expansion of humankind. Contemporary technologies are altering the mode of human communication hence becoming a major influencer behind its advancements. Due to expansions in 'Artificial Intelligence' (AI) and in the

'Internet of Things/Everythings' (IoT/E), the conservative forms of communication are rapidly becoming obsolete.

Agility, convenience and new technologies have taken over the entire space of communication. Artificial Intelligence is assumed as machine intelligence - one validated by machines, in contrary to the natural intelligence displayed by humans. It encompasses mainly three very contradictory types of structures - Analytical (only cognitive intelligence), Human-Inspired (both cognitive and emotional intelligence), and Humanized Artificial Intelligence (all three forms of intelligence i.e. cognitive, emotional, and social).

Intelligence (Artificial) a boon or curse
There is no doubt that with the development of AI, machines can complete almost all tasks with a precision that necessitate human intelligence - at a much larger scale than human beings. These raises a question whether it’s a boon or curse as in in due course, it may completely melt down the jobs undertaken by the humans.

Agility, convenience and new technologies have taken over the entire space of communication

In this age of communication and fast spreading reach of mobile device and smartphone AI is very effectively used. Siri in IOS and Google Assistant in Android have become an indispensable part — they help in getting easy access to everything without essentially giving manual instructions over the mobile phone. They automate many communication features like scheduling and automating response to emails. On doing so it gets access to the most subtle information stored in mobile devices. Which peeps into the privacy domain.

From employment to economy, and from warfare to peace communication, AI is transforming every aspect of human life. However, there is a dilemma associated with Artificial Intelligence — whether it is advancing towards making this planet a better place to live or a place full of disaster. Advantages and disadvantages outweigh each other. But, considering the very fact that machines that use Artificial Intelligence are also manmade, it could be envisaged that in the long-term the machines using AI will have more advantages to overshadow the disadvantages.

How Industries are using Artificial Intelligence
AI-powered robots, possess no natural general intelligence, but are capable of solving problems and "thinking" in a limited capacity.

In healthcare its improving every aspect of the industry from robot-assisted surgeries to safeguarding private records against cyber criminals. Pharmaceutical companies are researching lifesaving medicines in a fraction of the time and cost

Financial sector relies on accuracy, real-time reporting and processing high volumes of quantitative data to make decisions. AI's is rapidly implementing automation, chatbots, adaptive intelligence, algorithmic trading and machine learning into financial processes.

In making travel arrangements to suggesting the most efficient route back home after work, AI is making it easier. Chatbots are rapidly changing the travel industry by facilitating human-like interaction with customers for faster response times, better booking prices and travel recommendations.

Smartphone and data burst is enabling social media in a constant battle to personalize and cultivate worthwhile experiences for users. Artificial intelligence, with its ability to organize massive amounts of data, recognize patterns and images predict shifts in culture, it is highly valuable to an industry with billions of users and annual revenue.

In e-commerce it enables companies to build personal relationships with customers. AI-driven algorithms personalize the user experience, increase sales and build loyal and lasting relationships. Companies use artificial intelligence to deploy chatbots, predict purchases and gather data to create a more customer-centric experience.

Marketers are allocating more budgets for artificial intelligence implementation as machine learning has dozens of uses when it comes to successfully managing marketing campaigns.

AI-powered tools have now become widely available to small and mid-sized businesses. It is helping marketers build in-depth customer insight reports, power pertinent content creation and book more impactful business meetings - all without a large human influence and with a better perfection.
