Sectors such as banking, healthcare, manufacturing, and government are increasingly being targeting through phishing campaigns, ransomware, identity theft, and data breaches. The Indian government has stepped in to address these challenges by strengthened its cybersecurity framework by enhancing the role of CERT-In, issuing regular security advisories, and mandating timely reporting of cyber incidents.
