Sujith Vasudevan, Assistant Editor

After more than seven months of lockdown and a roller coaster ride of unprecedented events, the business world is gradually making peace with the new normal. In the process, it’s an undeniable fact that technology has overwhelmed us by dramatically transforming the way the world functions and hosting a paradigm shift to the millennial concept of Virtual World.

From fulfilling the business processes as a team from miles apart to migrating data to cloud, and exercising the complete customer communications online, the pandemic has already hallmarked the beginning of a parallel world through cloud computing – enabled by the internet and powered

by an entire gamut of technology products, services, and platforms.

Marketswatch.com divulges a statistic that seconds this trend. According to a research by them, the global cloud migration services market was valued at $3.10 billion in 2017 and is expected to reach a value of $9.98 billion by 2023, growing at a CAGR of 21.50 percent. Clearly, the inevitability is getting to organizations.

Let’s look at a few more numbers. While a recent study by Marketsandmarkets.com predicts a $101.1 billion future for cloud ERP, the global CRM market is estimated to reach $114.4 billion by 2027, growing at a CAGR of 14.2 percent, according to a new report by Grand View Research. The 35 percent growth of Oracle’s Fusion Cloud solution despite the one percent decline in the company’s overall revenue in Q4 and the market behaviors like JioMeet’s five million downloads within a few days of its launch tell the same story.

However, for most of the organizations, there is no room for a goaround when it comes to cloud migration. They need to get it right the first time. The most successful way to achieve this is by starting small and taking one stride at a time.

The enterprises need to recognize their requirements in each stage and move forward with a detailed plan in order to succeed. In this issue of ‘10 Most Recommended Cloud Solutions Providers - 2020’, we have featured some of the finest in the industry who can transform the way you do business.

Have a successful cloud migration and do let us know your thoughts!
