The world is currently undergoing a technological renaissance and this transformation is being driven by Artificial Intelligence (AI).

AI has single handedly become one of the most influential technologies to hit the market in the last decade or so. From a young child watching AI generated cartoons to a tech CEO boosting his company’s performance through agentic AI, there’s hardly anybody in the world who has not been touched by AI. The emergence of new-age AI tools has not just revolutionized industries but has also made us reconsider how we live, work, communicate and more.

As AI’s role as the workhorse of the business strategy and transformation solidifies, regions across the world are increasingly moving towards adopting AI and improving AI infrastructure.

India is currently hosting the India AI Impact Summit 2026 in Delhi. The event is being hailed as a convergence of some of the world’s top tech minds and will provide a stage to upcoming Indian talent to learn from the best in the business.

From speakers such as Sundar Pichai and more addressing the gathering, the event places India at the epi centre of the AI revolution.

Speaking at the event, Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasized the significance of ensuring the demo -cratization of artificial intelligence (AI) to prevent humans from being reduced to mere data points or treated solely as raw materials.

“We need to democratise AI. We need to make it a means for inclusion and empowerment, especially in the Global South... we also need to provide an open sky for AI and keep command in our hands just like GPS that suggests our route, but we take the final call on which direction we will go”, Modi says here at the inaugural session of the India AI Impact Summit 2026.

It is needless to say that AI is here to stay. It will be interesting to watch how this technology completely transforms lives. One thing is for sure, those who align with the trend will swim, the rest will sink. So, pull your socks up and make the most of AI.
