DXC and ICT Academy to Enhance Virtual Education and Employment in Rural India

DXC Technology has announced a new partnership with ICT Academy, a non-profit project of the Indian government in conjunction with state governments and industries, to train 7,500 rural school teachers in digital teaching skills and 10,000 graduating female students in advanced IT skills.
The Rural Teachers Empowerment Program will provide digital instruction to 7,500 schoolteachers, allowing them to successfully provide interactive courses to students.
Teachers from Assam, Jammu and Kashmir, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, and Puducherry in India will emerge from this initiative.
The Women Empowerment Program will assist 10,000 graduating women from India's tier II, III, and rural regions in learning new information technology skills. These skills would in turn improve their employability and entrepreneurship.
