Google Launched Interactive Video Shopping Platform Shoploop

An interactive video shopping platform called Shoploop launched by Google will now help people in experiencing the look and feel of products they like to buy in real life by not going to a store physically.
Shoploop developed by Google as an in-house lab for experimental projects named ‘Area 120’ will be available soon on mobile and desktop as per Google’s announcement on Thursday.
User will be able to review, try and recommend
products for helping others to shop directly from videos.
The Shoploop videos are within 90 seconds which help people in discovering latest products through entertainment. Shoppers can try home nail stickers, revive second-day hair or a concealer for full coverage.
Google stated that the experience on Shoploop is also interactive in general than scrolling through images, titles and descriptions on a traditional e-commerce portal.
Real people can review products and help users.
If a shopper gets a product of its choice, then it can save the product to buy later or immediately by clicking straight to the merchant’s website and complete purchase.
Shoppers can follow Shoploop creators and share their videos with others.
Google said that it is now focused on content creators, publishers and online store owners from beauty industry in categories like makeup, skincare and hair & nails. “If anyone is a content creator or a store owner, they can apply on our website to become an exclusive Shoploop creator,” stated Google.
