Paytm has introduced a novel AI-driven travel application, Paytm Checkin, enabling users to manage reservations for flights, trains, buses, and metro systems.

The application includes an in-app artificial intelligence (AI) assistant that allows users to explore and reserve travel via a conversational interface. The assistant may suggest destinations and create customized itineraries according to user preferences.

The company states that Paytm Checkin leverages AI to provide personalized outcomes based on users' previous selections and travel behaviors. These features are presently in the beta phase.

“We are convinced that AI will transform travel booking processes, and with Paytm Checkin, we are providing a top-notch, AI-driven experience via a specialized app aimed at simplifying, personalizing, and streamlining travel planning,” stated Vikash Jalan, chief executive officer (CEO), Paytm Travel.

The firm’s drive for AI integration in its travel services arises as it invests in new technologies to enhance its revenue.
