
Zoho Strengthens its Fintech Offering with POS and QR Devices

Zoho, the international tech firm based in Chennai, has today launched Zoho Payments POS terminals, QR devices, and audio boxes, along with various payment solutions such as payout functionalities, virtual accounts for collection, and marketplace settlements.
In 2024, Zoho launched Zoho Payments, a consolidated payment gateway designed to assist businesses in securely receiving payments from their clients. Today's launch expands the company's presence in the fintech sector, offering innovative, comprehensive payment solutions that streamline both collections and disbursements.
This declaration was issued during the Global Fintech Fest 2025, among the biggest yearly fintech gatherings, arranged by Payments Council of India (PCI), National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), and Fintech Convergence Council (FCC).
Sivaramakrishnan Iswaran, CEO of Zoho Payment Technologies and Global Head of Finance and Operations BU at Zoho, states, "For many businesses, each payment—like receiving customer payments, paying suppliers, or processing salaries—navigates a complex system of banking portals, gateways, and financial applications that require integration." Zoho aims to remove the traditional barriers separating banking, business finance, and payments by unifying them into a cohesive, interconnected ecosystem.

Zoho Payments POS and QR devices enable businesses to process in-person card payments through tap, dip, and swipe methods, in addition to UPI payments through scanning both static and dynamic QR codes. The POS terminals come with integrated printing and barcode scanning features. The QR devices include a sound box for immediate payment verification. The integrated billing feature in the POS device enables companies to create invoices and receive payments seamlessly. A café can quickly choose items, create a bill, accept payments, and print receipts, all using one device.

Payouts via Zoho Payments
Zoho Payments now offers payout capabilities, allowing businesses utilizing Zoho Payroll to distribute salaries and automate payroll processing for employees. Companies can effortlessly process salary payments from any of their bank accounts, monitor the payments completed, and utilize a more dependable method for transferring funds.
Businesses can create and assign unique virtual accounts for each customer, invoice, or branch to accept NEFT, RTGS, and IMPS payments, which enables them to easily identify which customers have paid

A fitness studio can establish monthly membership payments in Zoho Billing and automatically generate and dispatch mandates to their members for approval and payment.
