
HP India's New Digital Ad Film Lights Up Communities through Technology

HP India, a consumer technology company, has released a short film to commemorate Deepawali’s festive spirit through a digital ad film that highlights the power of communities coming together through technology-enabled solutions.
HP India wishes to convey how the actual meaning of the festival of lights is to help people in need. The film emphasizes on the value of community and reminisces the essence of festival, namely happiness, prosperity, and mutual support and encouragement, and offers a message of hope to businesses and reassurance to stay afloat during difficult times.
Titled as Diye Se Diya Jalao, the new Deepawali film features Patel, an elderly juice shop owner who is concerned about his business being relocated from a busy market to a quiet narrow lane.
The COVID-19 pandemic, according to Patel, made the previous year difficult for all firms, including his.
The ad film goes on to depict Patel's amazement when he discovers a big line outside his shop one morning. He soon discovers that the owners of a nearby salon, restaurant, and clothes store have lent him a hand by ordering juice from his business for their customers.His friends' altruistic and unmeasured offering, made possible by technology such as a laptop and printer, spread the Deepawali light, bringing delight.
