NITI Aayog Partners with Freshworks to Bolster Atal Innovation Mission

NITI Aayog’s Atal Innovation Mission (AIM), which provides robust support to innovators and entrepreneurs in India, announces its partnership with Freshworks Inc, a customer-engagement software company to further empower AIM Startup Innovators. Last week, India had India was ranked in top 50 nations in the Global Innovation Index 2020, jumping four positions up, and Atal Innovation Mission has played a great role behind it.

In the aftermath of the new partnership, Freshworks will provide credits for its suite of products to AIM and its beneficiaries.

The credits offered to the beneficiaries will be related to anything from Freshsales—Sales CRM Software to Freshdesk—Customer Support Software, and wide range of Freshworks’ solutions. Furthermore, as per the Statement of Intent (SoI), Freshworks is obliged to perform a white-glove onboarding for startups, which includes functional training in sales, marketing, and customer support use of cloud technology for providing better customer experiences.

Commenting on the occassion, AIM Mission Director R. Ramanan said, “This is a fantastic opportunity for our incubators and the startup ecosystem to get further empowered in their innovation journey. We are pleased to have Freshworks on board. It will be an innovative journey for our beneficiaries, an exciting one. Our primary objective is to improve the effectiveness and sustainability of the startup world across the country.”

Freshworks’ Director of Technology Partnerships Rajiv Ramanan also commented on the partnership, “Entrepreneurial efforts are alive and well in India, even during these challenging times. Enormous opportunities remain for SME/MSME and startups; we look forward to supporting their efforts with the right tools and guidance required so they can provide great experiences to win customers for life.”

The 2018-luanched AIM has also recently partnered ScooNews, one of the largest education media houses in India. With the partnership, ScooNews will support various events or competitions initiated by AIM through its network. The mission has also just launched SheCodes Innovation Challenge in partnership with Dell projected towards boosting Girl-Led Innovations.
