
Paytm Cloud Technologies Acquires 25 Percent Share in Seven Technology LLC

Paytm Cloud Technologies, a subsidiary of the fintech company Paytm, has purchased a 25 percent share in Seven Technology LLC, a Brazilian technology company, to investigate business prospects in the Latin American nation.
Last month, the Paytm board gave its approval for Paytm Cloud Technologies Limited (PCTL) to be incorporated in order to investigate business prospects in foreign markets.
"Paytm Cloud Technologies Limited, our wholly-owned subsidiary (PCTL), that the Board of Directors of PCTL at its meeting held on February 03, 2025...Has approved an investment of USD 1 million (equivalent to Rs 8.70 crore) in Seven Technology LLC incorporated in Delaware for the acquisition of 25 per cent stake," according to the company.
Dinie Correspondente Bancário e Meios de Pagamento Ltda (Dinie), an integrated finance firm that prioritizes APIs, is owned by Seven Technology.
Micro, small, and medium-sized businesses (MSMEs) in Brazil can access digital financial services solutions through Dinie's e-commerce and digital platforms.
In just one month, the price of Paytm's shares dropped 21 percent, yet over the last six months, it has increased by more than 47 percent.
