Ramco to Aviate its Software onto Iraqi Airways

Ramco Systems, a global aviation software specialist, declared that it will implement Ramco Aviation M&E MRO Software V5.8, an aviation software, onto Iraq's national carrier, Iraqi Airways Company.

Ramco proclaimed that it will deploy its entire Aviation Software suite, which includes modules for M&E, CAMO, Materials Management, and Quality & Safety. Through its Mobility module, the cloud-based software will automate the Iraqi national carrier's operations, manage complete records of its aircraft, and enable the airway's staff to manage their operations and receive alerts on the go, providing greater flexibility, optimized aircraft availability, and reduced friction.

Improved inventory monitoring and stock visibility capabilities will be incorporated into Ramco Aviation Software, allowing for better resource management, unified employee records, and end-to-end control operations on a single platform.

As a result, Ramco Systems' stock soared 4.60 percent to Rs.583 after the company announced that Iraq's national airline, Iraqi Airways Company, will use its aviation software, Ramco Aviation M&E MRO Software V5.8.

Iraqi Airways Company, also known as Iraqi Airways, is the country's national carrier, based at Baghdad International Airport in Baghdad. It is the Middle East's second-oldest airline. Baghdad International Airport serves as Iraqi Airways' main hub.

Ramco Systems' net profit fell 58.90 percent to Rs.7.45 crore in Q4 March 2021 over Q3 December 2020, owing to a 12.55 percent drop in income from operations to Rs 149.86 crore.
