Samrat Khosla Will Be The New Head - Wealth Management Of Standard Chartered Bank

Bengaluru, India – January 14, 2020: Samrat Khosla is appointed as the new Head of Wealth Management of Standard Chartered Bank India from February 01, 2020. Nitin Singh who is going to pursue other option will hand over the position to Khosla.

Samrat Khosla will relocate to India bringing his experience in distribution, products and wealth management. He joined Standard Chartered Bank in 2003 and has worked in various areas like retail banking, wealth management before he moved to Singapore to join the wealth management department of the bank in 2010.

Khosla, as the head of life insurance, has been

contributory in heading special strategic partnership with Prudential. He has led a fundamental renovating the deliberate life insurance product agenda.

Samrat will now report to Zarin Daruwala, India, CEO and Sumeet Bhambri, Regional Head, WM, ASEAN & South Asia and Head WM, Singapore.

Standard Chartered Bank is a financial service multinational company. The bank functions more than 1,200 branches and outlets all over more than 70 countries including subsidiary, joint venture and associates of networks all over the world. The name of the bank comes from two banks namely, The Chartered Bank of India and Standard Bank of British South Africa. The bank was founded in 1862 by Scot, John Paterson.

2006, Standard Chartered Bank declared that it had acknowledged proposals for more than 51 percent of the distributed share capital of Hsinchu International Bank.

Standard Chartered, with the International Agency for the Deterrence of Blindness, succeeds a charity which is called ‘seeing is believing.’ The charity targets to remove avoidable blindness in evolving countries. Standard Chartered contests every dollar elevated by the organization.

In September 2009 the bank proclaimed that Standard Chartered had approved to be the chief sponsor of Liverpool Football Club for the time concerning July 2010 and the conclusion of the 2013–14 football seasons. The contract was conveyed to have an entire worth of 80 million. The sponsorship has been prolonged three intervals.
