In conversation with Jeetendra Choudhary, Founder & CEO, AppsWise

DevOps gained popularity over the years and the responsibilities of software development and information technology operations have changed drastically over the past few years. Please discuss the changes of applications during the time period.
We have extended the DevOps model so that application development, application operations, and IT infrastructure work as one. Based on our experience, the benefits of this move include a 25 to 30 percent increase in capacity creation, a 50 to 75 percent reduction in time to market, and a greater than 50 percent reduction in failure rates.

We measure success by improved delivery and service outcomes, so

incentives and performance management emphasize team results, not the achievements of individual functions. To reinforce this linkage, we have put in place metrics that balance business value, time-to-market, service availability, quality, and overall employee satisfaction. These measures enable us to align the often-divergent goals and perspectives of developers, operational teams, and business leaders.

At AppsWise, we believe in getting the job done and for that we give wide latitude to our developers

DevOps is allowing the operation teams to have a major focus on the infra- structure and IT policies of the company by giving powers to the developers. What are the strategies used by the company to provide more power on the developers to focus on the infrastructure and IT policies?
A major shift has been reshaping the IT landscape during the last decade. Developers, tired of waiting for production to get around to updating their code, have started writing software that automates operational tasks. The days of developers being oblivious to operations and scaling problems has come to an end as the art of running applications becomes distilled into fully automated computer code. DevOps promises to add new features faster even in the face of more demanding requirements for availability and security, by fostering a high degree of collaboration across the full IT value chain.

We are using Containers which gives our developers more control over the environment, while retaining speed and agility. We mainly use Docker, the leading container management platform for this job.

DevOps has enabled a high degree of standardization, creating efficient ways

of deploying, configuring, and running many servers with just a few tools instead of relying on human intervention.

Culture and tools are the two intersecting factors for the growth and development of every company. How does AppsWise manage to tackle culture and tools in the company in order to attain growth?
Software solutions exist at the union of culture and technology, understanding the human attributes of workplace technology enables our executives to design a workplace that's more inclusive, innovative and innovative.

Technology is the bridge that brings organizations together, builds a strong workplace culture, and improves productivity and job satisfaction.

At AppsWise, we believe in getting the job done and for that we give wide latitude to our developers. We have flexible work schedules and remote work policies allowing our developers to contribute form the place they are most comfortable at also at the same time increasing productivity. We use different collaboration and network tools allowing our developers to contribute securely from anywhere.

This process helps create a culture of collaboration, as they encourage idea-sharing, creativity, and overall connectedness. Being able to communicate and connect with coworkers fast and seamlessly when you can't physically be in the office fosters a sense of teamwork and improves morale.

For the years to come, what have you outlined for AppsWise?
Our vision is to connect SME’s and Startup to digital mainstream through digital transformation. In this pursuit we want to make Information technology accessible, affordable and within reach of every business owner or founder. We want to make technology truly a business enabler for business rather than considered as bottleneck or a luxury.
