Bharat Rahane: Work culture ultimately drives behaviors, shapes relationships, and impacts overall success. Bearing this in mind, we have, over the years, transitioned our work place culture from a Training Culture to a Learning culture. The key facets of this transition that were conceptualized and implemented in order to foster this shift were: a)Aligning our L&D team with the organization’s Leadership, b) Encouraging the involvement of key business stake holders viz. Team Leaders, Project Managers, etc., c) Including the key aspect of Soft Skill learning, encompassing Communication, Collaboration, and Time Management, and d) Investing in a strong L&D platform.
We also provide our employees with opportunities through online courses, attending conferences or workshops, or simply encouraging them to read relevant industry news and articles. We further encourage conversations and idea sharing among team members by providing them with an open and comfortable space, allowing them to express their opinions, put forth ideas/ suggestions, and ask questions without feeling judged. We also ensure that all the ideas & suggestions put forth by them are welcome, no matter how relevant they may seem at first glance.
What is the future roadmap envisioned for MGS Technology?
Bharat Rahane:Taking due cognizance of the ever-evolving trends of the IT & BPM industry and with cutting-edge technology being more important than ever, our organizational roadmap is focused on continuously learning and adapting to the latest industry innovations as they are deemed imperative for us to launch any new products or services that satisfy customers' needs, while also supporting the enterprise's strategy.
Our services road map links corporate strategy with portfolio management and project execution, which, in turn, will help us gauge a connection between the bottom-up project reality and top-down strategy vision, medium-term (2-3 Life Cycles) sequence of projects with clear deliverables, and the ability to generate insights beyond simply laying out existing projects.
We feel this would also prove advantageous to us by helping us develop the right technologies, capabilities, and organizational structures at the right time to satisfy our customers'ever-changing needs and preferences. It will also boost our returns on technology investments by focusing resources (including managerial attention) on the technology most likely to unfold. Moreover, this will help build consensus on our technology innovation plans and foster learning from our innovation experiences across the different facets of our business.
