Under this initiative, Reliance plans to design, build, and operate an advanced AI cloud facility in Jamnagar, fully compliant with Google Cloud's global standards. Powered by Jio's robust digital network and Reliance's renewable energy capabilities, the facility will support high-performance AI workloads while prioritizing sustainability at scale.
Wipro Expands Google Cloud Pact to Deploy Gemini AI
Wipro, a top IT services company, announced an expanded partnership with Google Cloud to deploy Gemini Enterprise globally and deliver AI agents for businesses. Wipro plans to roll out Gemini Enterprise, a cutting-edge AI platform from Google Cloud, across key business departments like finance, HR, sales, shipping, and customer service.
This move is expected to speed up decision-making, enhance operational efficiency, and improve employee satisfaction, as disclosed in a legal document. Wipro has revealed that they are incorporating this into their Client Zero approach, where they test and use AI solutions in-house before offering them to clients through their Wipro Intelligence suite.

Infosys has set up a Centre for Advanced AI, Cybersecurity, and Space Technology at its Development Centre (DC) located in Hubballi, Karnataka. This newly established center is part of ‘Infosys Living Labs,’ a global network comprising over 12 existing centers aimed at helping clients accelerate innovation and leverage emerging technologies to secure their businesses for the future.
The center was inaugurated by Minister for Large & Medium Industries MB Patil along with IT and Rural Development Minister Priyank Kharge, and it will offer services to clients around the world across various industries including manufacturing, financial services, retail, and healthcare.
The Hubballi DC is home to over 1,000 employees, and the company has formed strong partnerships with local institutions like IIIT Dharwad and KLE Tech to foster innovation and collaboration in the region.
Minister M B Patil expressed, “We are excited to witness Infosys enhancing its footprint in North Karnataka with more than 1,000 personnel at its Hubballi Development Centre. Paytm has launched an innovative travel application powered by AI, called Paytm Checkin, which allows users to handle bookings for flights, trains, buses, and metro services.
The app features an integrated AI assistant that enables users to discover and book travel options through a conversational format. The assistant can recommend destinations and create tailored itineraries based on the user's preferences.
According to the company, Paytm Checkin uses AI to offer personalized results derived from users’ past choices and travel habits. These functionalities are currently being tested in beta.
