Eupheus Learning, a Delhi-based B2B edtech startup embraces a raise of $ 10 million in a Series C funding led by Lightrock, an equity firm.

Here on out, the edtech startup plans to apply the funds for scaling, pursue inorganic growth through acquisitions and democratize access to 21st Century learning solutions to school students.

Additionally, it envisions to expand its products portfolio as well as stretch its footprint geographically and in segments.

Since it boasts a classroom-first curriculum, it places immense priority on offering a classroom learning experience.

With the implementation of NEP 2020 (National Education Policy), there has been an increase in school uptake and demand for new-age solutions, as well as partnerships with supplemental solution providers. Eupheus Learning collaborates with over 5,500 schools in India and the Middle East, and has a broad portfolio of curricular and supplemental products.

“With the evolution of online teaching and the impact of Covid-19 on the education sector, we are assisting schools in adopting a hybrid form of teaching and learning experience by providing 21st-century learning solutions to students,” says Sarvesh Shrivastava, co-founder and managing director, Eupheus Learning.

Eupheus Learning, founded by Sarvesh Shrivastava, Ved Prakash Khatri, and Amit Kapoor in June 2017, has 5,500 school partnerships and targets 4 million students. It recently launched two major competitions, the ‘National Coding Competition - Code2Win’ and the ‘Olympiad through ISFO’, with a combined total registration of about one million pupils in India.

Eupheus raised $4.1 million in Series B funding earlier this year for domestic and worldwide expansion, led by Kuwait-based United Education Company (UEC) and Al Rayan Holding Company.

Lightrock's Divya Venkatavaraghavan remarks, "the extraordinary disruption of a classroom due to pandemic-driven digitization gives a rare opportunity for schools to implement hybrid learning models and improve learning outcomes for kids”.
