According to reports, PepsiCo India, a leading food and beverage company, has joined the government-led Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC).

This collaboration will increase the discoverability of PepsiCo's goods and aid in the expansion of customer outreach via ONDC-affiliated seller applications.

The company is always looking to innovate our go-to-market models, according to PepsiCo India President Ahmed ElSheikh.

“The integration with ONDC marks a pivotal step in this journey as it not only helps us to leverage latest technology platform solutions that will make us faster and flexible in our speed to market but also helps us to solidify our commitment to elevating consumer experiences," the PepsiCo India President says.

ONDC MD & CEO T Koshy says, “As ONDC Network aims to create a transparent e-commerce ecosystem creating equal opportunities for all, we are happy to see PepsiCo India on board. PepsiCo India can now reach a wider customer base, while offering expanded choices for buyers on the network.”

It allows small retailers to deliver their services and commodities to customers all over the country via an e-commerce system, where buyers will be able to acquire products sold on any platform

ONDC is a Ministry of Commerce and Industry project that aims to help small merchants grow their businesses and diminish the dominance of e-commerce behemoths. Its goal is to create an open, interoperable network where buyers and sellers may transact without having to be on the same platform.

It allows small retailers to deliver their services and commodities to customers all over the country via an e-commerce system, where buyers will be able to acquire products sold on any platform.

Pepsi, 7UP, Mountain Dew, Slice, Tropicana, Mirinda, Lay's, Kurkure, Uncle Chips, and Quaker Oats are among the brands represented in PepsiCo India's consumer portfolio of beverages and snacks.
