  • 10 Most Recommended Technology Startups - 2019

With the addition of more than 1,300 startups this year so far, India continues to reinforce its position as the third-largest startup ecosystem in the world, according to the IT industry body NASSCOM. Recently, Commerce and industry minister Piyush Goyal told Lok Sabha that 2,85,890 jobs are reported by 23,657 DPIIT recognized start-ups, as on December 4, 2019. Of these, the highest of 52,847 were reported in Maharashtra followed by Karnataka. As on November 21, 2019, SIDBI has committed Rs 3123.20 crore to 47 SEBI registered Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs) and these funds have raised a corpus fund of Rs 25,728 crore. Further referring to a Nasscom report, the Indian e-commerce market registered an estimated growth of approximately 24 percent in 2018 to reach USD 43 billion. However, it is estimated that it will reach USD 54 billion in 2019. While most startups are small in team size and limited in terms of financial capacity, there’s one advantage they often have opposing their larger competitors that is innovation and new business models for transforming market conditions. In 2018, 95 percent of startups had digital business plans in place and 55 percent of startups had already adopted a digital business strategy compared to just 38 percent of traditional enterprises. Whereas the year 2019 will see disruptive innovation in various markets such as online retail with the improved personalization of the shopping experience, using AI and machine learning. This will give buyers access to features as fascinating as virtual test rooms. Additionally, it is also the year of further experimentation with blockchain and other advanced technologies that are becoming part of humans’ daily lives even if they don’t realize it. Thus, each startup business needs to acquire visibility in the market to build awareness in the target audience’s mind. Therefore, we present to you a list of 10 Most Recommended Technology Startups - 2019. Being closely scrutinized by a distinct panel of judges including CEOs, CIOs, CXOs, analysts and CIO Insider editorial board, we believe that these vendors will provide simple to use and easy to understand products and solutions to the people.
