After much anticipation, the technology giants KPMG and Microsoft have finally announced the enhanced engagement of the duo. The global relationship between KPMG and Microsoft has been significantly enhanced to transform professional services in several key areas, such as modernizing the workforce, developing and using AI solutions for clients, industries, and society in general, and ensuring safe and secure practices.

The strengthened industry-leading collaboration comes with a KPMG commitment of several billion dollars in Microsoft cloud and AI services over the next five years. This will help KPMG access additional growth opportunities worth more than $ 12 billion. The enhanced alliance will improve KPMG client engagements and boost the employee experience in a responsible, trustworthy, and safe manner. The KPMG global workforce of 265,000 will be able to use their creativity, provide quicker analysis, and spend more time on strategic advice with the help of the Microsoft Cloud and Azure Open AI Service capabilities. This will help them to assist clients, including the 2,500 clients that KPMG and Microsoft share, to adapt to the fast-changing AI landscape and solve their biggest business problems while preparing them for the future world of work.

It is interesting to note what Satya Nadella, Chairman and CEO, Microsoft, said: “We have a real opportunity to apply this next generation of AI to help transform every industry, including professional services. Our expanded partnership with KPMG will bring together AI innovation across the Microsoft Cloud with KPMG’s tax, audit, and advisory expertise to empower its employees and unlock insights for its customers.” This yearly special issue will explore more about the unique Microsoft partner ecosystem.
