Emphasizing that AI should result in worldwide benefits, Prime Minister Narendra Modi proposed a global agreement grounded in the ideals of transparency, human supervision, safety-by-design, and the prevention of abuse.

In the third session of the G20 Summit on "A Fair and a Just Future for All - Critical Minerals; Decent Work; Artificial Intelligence," the Prime Minister highlighted that AI should enhance human abilities, but the final choice must rest with humans.

He emphasized that these technology applications should be 'human-focused' instead of 'finance-focused', 'universal' rather than 'local', and grounded in 'open-source' rather than 'proprietary models'.

PM Modi explained that this vision has been incorporated into India's technology framework, leading to considerable advantages in space applications, AI, and digital payments, where the nation excels globally.
