Amazon has broadened its ultra-fast delivery service, Amazon Now, to over 120 cities in India, increasing its coverage in just two weeks. Consumers in cities like Amritsar, Abohar, Jalandhar, Ambala, Mangalore, Manipal, Vizag, Kochi, Changanassery, Bhubaneswar, and Karwar can now have deliveries in just a few minutes.

The service provides tens of thousands of daily items, including groceries like fruits, vegetables, and frozen foods, along with personal care, fashion and beauty items, small appliances, and home and kitchen merchandise. Orders are processed via a network of close to 800 micro-fulfilment and urban fulfilment hubs.

"We are thrilled to bring ultra-fast deliveries with Amazon Now to the remote areas of India before the Amazon Great Indian Festival. Amazon Now remains the quickest expanding ecommerce segment in Amazon India's history, with orders increasing twofold every quarter,” stated Harsh Goyal, vice president – everyday essentials, Amazon India.

"This swift implementation highlights our dedication to providing quick and dependable delivery to customers nationwide. We are eager to keep expanding and providing the broadest range of products with the quickest delivery times this holiday season,” adds Harsh.

In September, Amazon revealed that Amazon Now had achieved $1 billion in yearly gross sales in India during the previous three-month span. The firm aims to establish India’s biggest ‘delivery-in-minutes’ network by expanding Amazon Now to consumers in more than 300 cities nationwide.
