Andhra Govt to Ink Series of Tech-Related Pacts
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is set to participate in the ongoing AI Impact Summit in Delhi on Friday, where multiple agreements with major corporations and educational institutions primarily centered on AI will be formalized, according to the government.
As per a press release issued on Thursday, the CM is slated to meet with industry leaders, and multiple agreements are anticipated to be signed during his attendance.
The government is set to finalize agreements that will enhance AI infrastructure and foster skill development within the state.
A partnership with IBM will offer AI, quantum technology, and cybersecurity training to 1 million young people in the southern region.
A collaboration with the United Nations International Computing Centre (UNICC) will create a Quantum and AI Centre of Excellence, whereas an agreement with the National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology (NIELIT) will establish a Quantum AI University in the region.
Moreover, IIT Madras will work with the Andhra government to introduce an Artificial Intelligence (AI) Tutor program, and Nvidia will join forces to create AI Living Labs in the region.

Additionally, the chief minister will join a plenary session named "AI Accelerators: Fuelling India's Economic Growth," with his Assam counterpart Himanta Biswa Sarma, Union Minister Jitin Prasada, and delegates from IT leader TCS.
Naidu will conduct individual meetings with Abdulrahman Y Althukair, Managing Director of Aramco India, Adobe's CEO Shantanu Narayen, and Mike Haley, Head of Autodesk AI

At 1:30 pm, the CM will hold a meeting with a UK delegation at the summit, featuring AI and Online Safety Minister Kanishka Narayan, UK High Commissioner to India Lindy Cameron, and Minister Counsellor for Climate, Science and Technology Sally Taylor, to explore joint initiatives.
