Aparup Sengupta Will Be The New CEO Of Startek

Bengaluru, India – January 27, 2020: Aparup Sengupta will be the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of Startek, the US listed corporate development subcontracting the organisation which took India headquartered Aegis. Sengupta is substituting present Startek CEO Lance Rosenweig, who is walking down to follow other prospects.

“We expect to report our strongest fourth quarter in company history in March as we complete our closing processes. I look forward to leading Startek into its next evolution as we continue to execute on our various initiatives in 2020,” Sengupta said in a statement.

Aparup Sengupta is a business executive who started Ananto Analytics Pvt Ltd. and who has been the chairman of five various organisations. Currently, he conquers the chair of Executive Chairman & Global CEO at Startek, Inc. and Chief

Executive Officer of Aegis BPO Services Ltd. He is one of the directors of the board of 10 other organisations.

“Mr Sengupta formerly held the chair of Principal at 24, Chief at Microland Ltd., Executive Chairman at The Minacs Group Pte Ltd., Global Chief Executive Officer & Managing Director at Aegis Ltd. and Chairman of Associated Chambers of Commerce & Industry of India. Aparup Sengupta received an undergraduate degree from Bengal Engineering & Science University”. Said Startek.

Sengupta has almost twenty years of executive knowledge in the BPO and telecommunications market. He assisted as Startek’s chairman of the board of directors from the professional amalgamation with Aegis on July 20, 2018.

Sengupta is also a working partner of Capital Square Partners (CSP), which is a Singapore-based reserved equity organisation and popular stakeholder of Startek.

Throughout his tenure at Aegis around 2005 and 2012, he controlled the organisations revolution and cultivated yearly revenue from $60 million to increase in $850 million in fewer than seven years.
