Ashok Leyland Partners with FAMCO Qatar

Commercial vehicle manufacturer Ashok Leyland announced that it has teamed up with Qatar’s Al-Futtaim Group’s firm FAMCO Qatar to enhance its presence in the Persian Gulf nation as part of its international expansion strategy.

This shift enhances Ashok Leyland's growth in Saudi Arabia alongside FAMCO KSA from last year, strengthening the solid strategic partnership between Al-Futtaim and Ashok Leyland.

Ashok Leyland announced that, in collaboration with FAMCO Qatar, it will launch its complete range of commercial vehicles, featuring the new electric bus, designed to meet the requirements of local businesses and communities.

The extensive product range features the prominent 'Falcon' and 'Oyster' buses, in addition to the adaptable 'Boss' and 'Partner' light and medium-duty trucks, the company stated, emphasizing that the collaboration utilizes Al-Futtaim's robust regional network to provide dependable fleet and after-sales assistance.

Ashok Leyland stated that its vehicles, regardless of fuel type and model, are engineered to provide operational durability, maximum fuel efficiency, and a reduced total cost of ownership for customers from various sectors—including fleet operators, logistics firms, SMEs, and public transport enterprises.
