Autodesk Announces Extension of its Regional Data Storage Services to India

Autodesk has declared the expansion of its regional data storage services to India, enabling businesses and public sector entities to store and manage project data locally. This effort holds special importance for areas like government, infrastructure, and utilities, where local data storage and adherence to regulations are essential. This transition allows Indian businesses to fulfill these needs while enjoying superior levels of security, privacy, and data restoration.
Findings from Autodesk’s 2025 State of Design & Make report indicate that digital transformation is yielding as much as a 50% return on investment in crucial performance aspects such as innovation, efficiency, and customer satisfaction within the architecture, engineering, construction, and operations (AECO) sectors. In India, 37% of companies indicate reluctance to embrace these tools because of worries regarding data security. The implementation of local storage directly tackles these issues, facilitating secure cloud collaboration with data stored locally.
