
Availity to Expand India Operations, Triple Headcount by 2026

US-based healthcare IT company Availity revealed that it is broadening its operations in India by inaugurating a 54,000-square-foot facility in Bengaluru.
This expansion involves a new investment of $4.3 million, representing a significant advancement in the development of Availity’s India Global Capability Centre (GCC) from mainly a product support role to a technology and innovation center aimed at enhancing healthcare transactions in America.
The healthcare IT company plans to increase its workforce at its India tech center by more than three times by the end of 2026 to address financial pressures within the US healthcare sector and boost its technological capabilities in India, as stated in an announcement. Availity will expand its Bengaluru capability center, targeting an increase in staff from 250 to 400 by the end of 2025 and reaching 800 by the end of 2026.
Through this expansion, the company intends to continue growing its talent pool, aiming for expertise in various areas such as technology, product development, operations, and corporate roles, including specializations in Product Engineering, Cybersecurity, Cloud Engineering, and Data Engineering.

"Healthcare delivery is intricate, but Availity’s India GCC aids in simplifying it by developing secure, scalable technology solutions that alleviate friction in the USA’s healthcare ecosystem,” stated Vybhava Srinivasan, Managing Director of Availity India. “This new facility embodies our long-term goal for Availity India as a key player in our global capabilities.”
The firm additionally stated that this expansion will enhance Availity’s cloud-first technology platform, which optimizes efficiency, cybersecurity, and resilience through responsible AI usage, data-driven insights, extensive partnerships, and a varied product lineup.
