Composio, an agentic AI startup, has secured $25 million in a funding round headed by Lightspeed Venture Partners. The round also saw involvement from current investors like Elevation Capital, Together Fund, and angel investors including Gokul Rajaram, Rubrik cofounder Sohum Mazumdar, Dharmesh Shah, among others.

The company, located in San Francisco and Bengaluru, had earlier secured $4 million through a seed funding round.

Composio stated in a press release that the funds will be used to grow its engineering and research team.

Founded in 2023 by Soham Ganatra and Karan Vaidya, Composio streamlines complex enterprise processes via AI-powered automation. The startup creates infrastructure enabling AI agents to connect directly with popular business applications such as Gmail, GitHub, Salesforce, Slack, and more. It serves as a link between independent AI tools and the enterprise software infrastructure.

Composio states that its platform provides ready-made, production-level integrations, enabling AI agents to execute tasks such as sending and organizing emails, updating CRM entries, managing tickets, and interacting with code repositories—eliminating the need for developers to create each connection from ground up, handle complex logins, or write and maintain additional code.

The startup asserts that more than 100,000 developers utilize the platform, with increasing uptake among AI-centric companies

“These models do not improve in their performance like a human worker does.” They are unable to establish context, learn from errors, or cultivate the nuanced comprehension that renders human employees irreplaceable. We're addressing this issue at the infrastructure level," says Soham Ganatra, CEO and co-founder of Composio.

Composio serves customers that include leading startups from the recent Y Combinator cohorts such as April, OpenNote, Airweave, Den, and Dash. It also asserts having more than 200 businesses as paying clients and is producing over $1 million in yearly recurring revenue.
