As leading artificial intelligence (AI) labs compete to create dependable AI systems, the main constraint is moving from computing GPUs to data.

Deccan AI, a company based in the Bay Area with strong connections to India, has introduced Deccan AI Experts, a specialized talent network for the elite 1 percent of professionals in India, allowing them to utilize the company’s technology platform to directly aid in AI model training and assessment.

Established by Rukesh Reddy (IIT Bombay, IIM Ahmedabad), Deccan AI collaborates with top global laboratories and tech firms to provide intricate, high-fidelity data and assessment projects.

The firm merges human knowledge with AI-driven accuracy via its proprietary Databench platform and a Human + AI Quality Playbook that incorporates peer review, gold labels, and anomaly detection. The combination of precision engineering and human understanding has driven initiatives for major tech firms and prominent AI research laboratories around the globe.

In slightly over two years, Deccan AI claims to have created one of the largest and most sophisticated expert networks globally for human-in-the-loop AI development. By December 2025, the firm has more than one million registered and screened freelancers in its talent repository, with over 12,000 approved experts prepared for assignment on intricate AI processes.

“AI will not take the place of humans. However, AI developed without human input will be inadequate. “The world requires systems that learn through reasoning rather than repetition — and from expertise instead of approximation,” remarked Rukesh Reddy, founder and CEO of Deccan AI Experts.

“Our promise is to create AI that is precise, responsible, and prepared for practical use,” adds Rukesh.

The platform provides geographic flexibility, earnings based on projects, and adjustable schedules for professionals frequently overlooked by conventional employment. These consist of mothers re-entering the workforce, spouses of military personnel, individuals with disabilities, and students from rural areas.
