Delhivery Completes Testing of its Autonomous Logistics Drone
Delhivery, a comprehensive logistics service company, revealed that it has completed a successful test of its autonomous VTOL (Vertical Take-off and Landing) logistics drone in Deoria, Uttar Pradesh, as part of its initiative to evaluate aerial delivery in rural and remote regions.
The showcase, performed by Delhivery Robotics India Pvt. Ltd., highlighted a drone carrying medications along a designated 12 km path. The journey, usually requiring approximately 40 minutes by car, was finished independently in roughly 12 minutes. The test was observed by Shri Shashank Mani, Hon’ble MP from Deoria.

Delhivery stated that the drone is included in a prototype collection engineered for difficult landscapes, able to transport up to 5 kg across 60–90 km per charge.

A 20 kg model with greater capacity is currently in development. The organization observed that these installations might also create new positions in piloting, maintenance, and ground activities.
