Deloitte Inaugurates Quantum Tech Facility at IIT Bombay
Deloitte India unveiled a quantum technology center at IIT Bombay to expedite innovations for Indian companies.
The Quantum Centre of Disruption for Enterprises (QCoDE) at the ASPIRE IIT-Bombay Research Park Foundation symbolizes a strategic partnership between industry and academia aimed at expediting quantum adoption, research, and enterprise applications for businesses in India, according to Deloitte.
The center will integrate Deloitte's worldwide quantum network, IIT Bombay's educational prowess, startups, technology collaborators, and industry pioneers to assist Indian companies in mitigating risks associated with investments in this technology, creating use cases, nurturing talent, and moving from experimentation to practical implementation.
Companies that start developing quantum capabilities now will be among the first to benefit as the technology evolves, it stated.

"The introduction of QCoDE marks a significant advancement in bolstering India's quantum ecosystem in accordance with the Government of India's National Quantum Mission," states Romal Shetty, CEO, Deloitte South Asia.
"Quantum technologies are transitioning from theoretical concepts to practical applications, and Deloitte intends to assist organizations in starting their quantum ventures now instead of postponing for hardware advancements.
