Aditya Mangla has been appointed as CEO of Food ordering and delivery business and SMP at Eternal (formerly Zomato), according to reports.

The company says Mangla's appointment is pursuant to the approval of board of directors on July 6, 2025, for 2 years.

Eternal notified the exchanges that Ranjan has finished his 2-year term as the CEO of the food ordering and delivery business, and he will no longer hold the title of Senior Management Personnel (SMP) starting from July 6, 2025.

"This is more than merely a role shift. It serves as an indication of the type of leadership required as we progress into our upcoming chapter. Leadership involves more than simply understanding the right actions to take. It's about understanding how to perceive. Recognizing the unseen cause and effect," Goyal stated in an email to staff.

"We require leaders who hear not to respond, but to comprehend. Aditya has also been among the rare leaders in the food delivery team who frequently encounter," says Deepinder.

Since becoming part of Eternal in March 2021, Mangla has assumed several leadership positions within the food delivery sector, such as Head of Supply and Head of Customer Experience, concentrating on improving restaurant partner networks and boosting customer satisfaction across digital interfaces.

Before joining Eternal, Aditya held high-level PnL, product, and marketing positions in startups and technology-focused firms. He possesses a PGP in Management from the Indian School of Business, where he received the Torchbearer Award, a master’s in Information Networking from Carnegie Mellon University, and a bachelor's degree in IT from Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology.
