Google is offering Indian college students aged 18 and older free access to its premium Google AI Pro plan, which normally costs Rs 19,500 per year.

This promotion can be claimed by qualifying students until September 15, 2025. The offer includes advanced AI tools like Gemini 2.5 Pro, Deep Research, and enhanced features of NotebookLM. A recent report by Google and Kantar revealed that 75 percent of Indians seek a daily collaborator to assist them in their growth and success.

The study also found that 95 percent of Indian students using Gemini feel more assured in their daily lives.

Those who take advantage of this offer will benefit from premium tools such as Veo 3 Fast for creating videos from text and images, Deep Research for personalized research assistance, Audio Overviews for podcast production, and Gemini Live for brainstorming activities.

Furthermore, the plan includes 2TB of cloud storage across Google Drive, Gmail, and Google Photos—plenty of space to safely store and back up academic work, media, and research.

To access the offer, eligible students need to go to Google One and confirm their student status through the verification service SheerID, as per reports.

The verification process requires the addition of a payment method and completion of a trial purchase, but no charges will be incurred during the free 12-month period. Students are advised to use their personal Gmail accounts instead of college or university emails for registration.

Prior to the offer's expiration, Google will send out reminders, giving students ample notice to cancel if they wish.
