One of the most used web browsers by netizens Google Chrome is set to introduce a new update. According to reports, the browser which provides new updates every now and then is now set to launch a biometric payment option.

Google has payment details for its users and now the mobile users will have options to auto-fill payment details. To advance with the security system, users will be able to use biometric feature for accepting any payment request.

There is already the Google Pay platform with biometric feature for payments in the application. Therefore, it won’t be a huge task for Google to integrate the new feature on Chrome. The appearance shows that the source code of the Chrome browser also has been altered to make the biometric payment feature compatible.

With Windows having Hello feature as biometric option, now Chrome could too take advantage with the similar integration. It will further ensure the users are not carrying the card number or CVV for payments.
Chrome is known for its resources that drain the device battery. But with the new features, it is more likely that Google is making amendments to that.
