HCL Technologies Announces The Launch Of A Dedicated Microsoft Business Unit

India’s third largest software service firm – HCL Technologies has announced the launch of a dedicated HCL Microsoft Business Unit which will facilitate in extending Microsoft’s offerings of business application, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Microsoft Azure, IoT, and AI/Machine Learning. On top of that it will also help employees achieve more in the workspaces with Microsoft 365 and

Windows 10. The announcement was made on Tuesday by HCL Technologies.

According to Corporate Vice President of HCL Technologies Kalyan Kumar, the business unit will combine HCL’s specialized services with Microsoft’s powerful cloud services and in turn making a strong and unique offering to its clients. He further added that the business will not only enable to create intellectual property extending the Microsoft platform but also it will provide additional support to the clients across financial service sector, healthcare and life sciences, manufacturing , retail and tourism industry. It has been estimated that it will bring together more than 5500 professionals catering to more than 2000 customers.

The HCL Microsoft Business Unit will be headed by Don Jones, who has over 20 years of experience within the Microsoft Corporation. Executive Vice President of Microsoft believes that with the establishment of Microsoft Business Unit, HCL has taken an important stride towards the long standing partnership between the two companies. He further added that companies will benefit from unique products and services, supporting their digital journey while also fostering modern work and collaboration.

HCL was named as the leader in the IDC marketplace according to a Forrester assessment report published in 2019.
