Hyperbots Raises $ 6.5 Million in a Series A Funding Round

Hyperbots, which builds agentic AI co-pilots for finance and accounting operations, has raised $6.5 million in a Series A funding round co-led by Arkam Ventures and Athera Venture Partners.
New investor JSW Ventures, along with current supporters Kalaari Capital, Sunicon Ventures, and Darashaw & Company, also took part in the funding round.
The startup located in Bengaluru and the US, plans to utilize the funds to grow its presence in the US, develop new co-pilots, and introduce HyperLM—a proprietary large language model that has been pre-trained on extensive finance and accounting data.
Established in 2023 by Niyati Chhaya, Ram Jayaraman, and Rajeev Pathak, Hyperbots provides AI-driven tools that streamline essential finance and accounting activities, including invoice processing, entry matching and reconciliation, accrual management, tax validation, and payment term verification.
“There are use cases in finance and accounting where an AI agent can achieve straight through tasks with no human touch. We are transforming finance operations and freeing human bandwidths for doing higher order tasks,” says Rajeev Pathak, cofounder and CEO of Hyperbots.
The startup currently employs around 55 people, with the majority based in its engineering team in Bengaluru.
Hyperbots’ platform, which he says has been trained on over 30 million finance-specific data points, is tailored for mid-market enterprises in the US. The company noted that while finance teams globally have embraced digitization, many still depend on manual processes, siloed systems, and outdated reporting cycles.
The startup asserts that its AI co-pilots can minimize manual work by as much as 80 percent and achieve 99.8 percent precision in document processing, leading to quicker turnarounds and substantial cost reductions.
