India Is Moving Towards Innovation-Driven Economy: PM Modi
Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated that India is consistently advancing toward an economy driven by innovation and urged for better alignment between the education system and the demands of the real-world economy.
During the Post-Budget Webinar named ‘Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas – Fulfilling Aspirations of People’, the prime minister stressed that India should concentrate on new sectors like artificial intelligence, automation, the digital economy, and design-led manufacturing to maintain enduring growth.
“India is transitioning to an innovation-led economy,” Modi stated, noting that the nation must now focus more on areas like AI, automation, the digital economy, and design-oriented manufacturing to stay competitive in the swiftly changing global environment.
PM Modi emphasized the importance of reinforcing the link between education and employment. "We must speed up the integration of our education system with the actual economy even more," he stated, emphasizing that skills prepared for the future will be essential for India's workforce.
Emphasizing the significance of inclusive growth, Modi stated that access to opportunities for women must be guaranteed as the nation gears up for new technologies. "As we prepare for advanced technologies, it is essential that no daughter faces limitations because of insufficient opportunities," he stated.

The prime minister additionally discussed the administration’s emphasis on enhancing healthcare and sports within the wider development plan. He stated that the government is aiming for a preventive and comprehensive healthcare system, as health infrastructure has experienced considerable growth in recent years.
