
Indian Railways is Readying Policy to Institute a Sandbox to Encourage Start-ups

The Indian Railways is preparing a policy to establish a sandboxstart-ups, according to Ashwini Vaishnaw, Minister of Railways, Information Technology, and Broadcasting.
Ashwini says, “Our experiment of bringing startups into the railway sector was very successful. We are now bringing a new policy where we can test a new innovative idea and then scale it up based on that results of the test."
The minister stated that his ministry is reaching out to all sectors interested in partnering with Gati Shakti to create a course curriculum that equips students for industry readiness.
"Gatishakti Vishwavidyala concentrates on the transport and logistics field and is encouraging the industry to create course curriculum," Ashwini states.
Airbus assisted us in creating the aeronautical engineering course and committed to providing internships. IndiGo and HAL have embarked on that journey.
