Infosys establishes a Centre for Advanced AI, Cybersecurity, and Space Technology at its Development Centre (DC) in Hubballi, Karnataka. This new center is a component of ‘Infosys Living Labs,’ a network of more than 12 existing centers worldwide created to assist clients in speeding up innovation and utilizing emerging technologies to safeguard their businesses for the future.

The center, launched by Minister for Large & Medium Industries MB Patil and IT and Rural Development Minister Priyank Kharge, will provide services to clients worldwide across various sectors such as manufacturing, financial services, retail, and healthcare.

More than 1,000 workers are based at the Hubballi DC, and the organization has developed robust partnerships with local entities such as IIIT Dharwad and KLE Tech to promote innovation and collaboration in the area.

Minister M B Patil says, “We are thrilled to see Infosys expanding its presence in North Karnataka by surpassing 1,000 employees at its Hubballi Development Centre. This milestone not only creates vital employment opportunities also strengthens industry-academia collaboration, paving the way for local talent to thrive in emerging domains like AI and cybersecurity. We encourage Infosys to explore possibilities of expanding its business footprint to other districts of North Karnataka as well, further boosting regional growth and inclusivity."
