Global tech giant Intel announces the appointment of Safroadu (Saf) Yeboah-Amankwah as its new senior vice president and chief strategy officer, effective from November the first. With more than two decades of experience in building growth strategies and leading operations for a wide range of industries across private, public, and social sectors, Saf joins Intel from McKinsey&Company,

wherein he led Technology, Media & Telecommunications practices.

In Intel, Saf’s responsibility will encrust the Global Strategy Office, including Intel Capital, and he, according to the company, will also work with the executive team on developing and driving growth-oriented strategies. Saf will be reporting to Intel’s CEO Bob Swan.

In a statement, Bob said, “A profound evolution in computing is opening a much larger opportunity with implications for every aspect of our business.” He adds, “Saf has strong experience in strategy and international markets, a deep technical background, and he knows Intel well.
