Jakson Group Initiates Integrated Solar Facility Project
Jakson Group initiated its Rs 8,000-crore investment to establish a 6 GW integrated solar manufacturing plant in Madhya Pradesh.
Chief Minister Mohan Yadav inaugurated the first phase of the project, which includes establishing 3 GW cell and 4 GW solar module production capability, as stated by Jakson Group.
The comprehensive strategy will establish 6 GW of ingot production, 6 GW of wafer fabrication, 6 GW of cell manufacturing, and 6 GW of solar module production capacity within three years, creating 4,000 new job openings.
According to company details, Phase 1 requires an investment of Rs 2,000 crore to establish 3 GW of cell production and 4 GW of module manufacturing capacity. Phase 1 is anticipated to create 1,700 job openings.
Yadav stated, "The solar manufacturing facility in Maksi will generate skilled employment for our young people and establish our state as the hub for manufacturing and logistics in India’s clean energy shift."

He mentioned that the initiative showcases Madhya Pradesh's capabilities as a growth-oriented state with talented individuals and strong infrastructure, while promoting the country's vision of Aatmanirbhar Bharat.
Sameer Gupta, Chairman of Jakson Group, stated that the integrated solar manufacturing plant will promote technological independence from the core of India and enhance the country’s clean energy production abilities.
