LTIMindtree Bags Rs 3,000 Crore CBDT Deal

LTIMindtree, the sixth-largest IT services firm in India, has secured a Rs. According to reports, a seven-year contract worth 3,000 crore has been awarded by the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) to enhance its analytics platform using AI.

This comes after the service provider's biggest agreement in October of the previous year, when it secured a $580 million contract with a 'prominent global media and entertainment firm,' as well as a $450 million, multi-year contract in May 2025 with the US-based Archer-Daniels-Midland Company, a key agribusiness entity.

Stocks of the company based in Mumbai increased by 5 percent to Rs. 6,337 at midday on Friday on the BSE. The declaration was made while the market was open.

Additional information about the project is expected to be announced on Monday, January 19, during the earnings call for its FY26 results.

The increase in the company's substantial deal victories is anticipated to support growth, as brokerages predict its revenues to grow by 2.2 percent to 2.4 percent sequentially in the December quarter.

The company's net profit increased by 12 percent year-over-year in the last quarter, reaching Rs. Rs 1,401 crore, as its revenues increased by 10 percent to Rs. Rs 10,394 crore, exceeding market predictions.
