Microsoft's Rajesh Jha Announces his Retirement
Rajesh Jha, an important Microsoft leader managing products such as Windows and Microsoft 365 applications like Word and Teams, declared his retirement on Thursday after over thirty years with the company.
Jha, head of the Experiences + Devices division, will step down from his role on July 1 and will remain at Microsoft in an advisory capacity, as stated in a memo distributed to the company's staff.
The team additionally focuses on Microsoft's own devices, like Surface PCs.
Jha similarly revealed the advancements of Jeff Teper to executive vice president and Sumit Chauhan and Kirk Koenigsbauer to president, noting that he and Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella had been strategizing the succession for a while.

Nadella stated that Rajesh has been a steady presence in his life at Microsoft.
Last month, the firm revealed the retirement of its gaming division leader Phil Spencer and appointed insider Asha Sharma as the executive vice president and CEO of the department.
