Moet Hennessy India Names Siddharth Suri as MD

Moët Hennessy India, part of the French luxury giant LVMH- Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton, declared Siddharth Suri's appointment as Managing Director for India.

This strategic move arrives at a crucial time in Moët Hennessy India’s path as the firm enhances its growth goals and fortifies its position in the country's swiftly changing luxury wines and spirits sector.

In his new position, Suri will lead Moët Hennessy’s prestigious portfolio in India, which comprises Dom Pérignon, Moët & Chandon, Veuve Clicquot, Hennessy, Glenmorangie, Belvedere, Chandon, and Volcan. He will lead the development of the company’s long-term growth strategy, fostering consumer-focused innovation, and enhancing the cultural connection of Moët Hennessy’s brands with India’s emerging luxury consumers, all while advancing the company’s legacy of quality and innovation.

Siddharth has more than 24 years of significant experience in the FMCG and Wines & Spirits sectors, offering demonstrated proficiency in business transformation, market expansion, and building high-achieving teams in domestic, travel retail, and global markets. He has occupied high-level leadership positions at PepsiCo, Pernod Ricard, Moët Hennessy, Diageo, and most recently The Coca-Cola Company (HCCB), where he was a trailblazer in the Ready-to-Drink (RTD) alcoholic beverages sector in India, creating a completely new consumer demographic.

Suri is familiar with Moët Hennessy India; during his previous role as Sales Director for India and South Asia (Domestic and Travel Retail), he was instrumental in enhancing the company’s footprint and broadening its reach in important markets. His comeback signifies a complete circle, emphasizing his profound grasp of the business and his outlook for its future.
