Oracle revealed a partnership with the Uttar Pradesh State Skill Development Mission (UPSDM) to provide skills training in AI, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and data science to 300,000 students and professionals by the year 2029.

The program seeks to enhance employability and facilitate career advancement, while creating a talent pool prepared for an innovation-driven economy, comprising more than 300 hours of organized learning tracks in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), OCI Enterprise AI, OCI Data Science, Oracle APEX, OCI DevOps, and Oracle Security.

"Uttar Pradesh, having one of the largest youth demographics in the nation, is ideally situated to cultivate a robust, future-oriented workforce," stated Dr. Hari Om, principal secretary of the Vocational Education, Skill Development, and Entrepreneurship Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.

“Our partnership with Oracle demonstrates the state government’s dedication to fostering the next wave of talent by improving employability on a large scale and equipping young people for prospects in a global, tech-focused economy. This initiative will enhance the state's talent pipeline and bolster its ongoing digital and economic development,"adds Dr. Hari.

The program will be provided at no cost as a digital educational experience via UPSDM’s Oracle MyLearn, a thorough training and empowerment platform from Oracle University utilized by millions of learners globally.

UPSDM's Oracle MyLearn offers basic cloud training along with professional certifications and specialized learning suited to various skill levels and objectives. Students can obtain badges together with professional certifications to demonstrate their preparedness for specific positions and assist employers in recognizing suitable applicants.
