Snabbit, a fast service provider, has secured $19 million (approximately Rs 160 crore) in a new funding round led by Lightspeed, with contributions from existing investors like Elevation Capital and Nexus Venture Partners, according to the company’s founder Aayush Agarwal.

Snabbit provides skilled staff in just 10 minutes for various household duties including cleaning, dishwashing, laundry, and more.

The funding round occurs only four months after the company secured $5.5 million in its Series A round and just days following its main competitor, Pronto, a startup based in Gurugram, revealing its seed round of $2 million from Bain Capital Ventures.

Besides firms such as Snabbit and Pronto, other enterprises in the quick commerce sector like Slikk and others are gaining popularity among investors as they keep innovating and generating more demand among consumers.

“Whether it's Urban Company, Pronto, Pync, or another startup, we are unconcerned. They have replicated what Snabbit created and are now addressing the issues we resolved a year ago," Aayush says.

“Regardless of the presence of copycat companies and competitors, it ultimately comes down to execution. Snabbit's status as an early entrant in the market gives it an advantage over its competitors,” adds Aayush.

According to Aayush, Snabbit plans to grow to more than 200 micro-markets in metropolitan cities throughout India within the next nine months

"All our competitors devised the concept only after we did. Thus, it turns into our fight to lose, rather than their fight to win," Aayush says.

The company based in Mumbai, which has primarily concentrated on select areas in Bengaluru and Mumbai, plans to utilize the funds to aggressively grow into other regions of India.

According to Aayush, Snabbit plans to grow to more than 200 micro-markets in metropolitan cities throughout India within the next nine months.

Snabbit was established in 2024 when Agarwal, a previous Zepto worker, left to pursue his own venture.
