Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), a leading IT services company, has finalized an agreement to purchase a complete 100 percent share in Coastal Cloud, a Salesforce Summit partner, for a total cash amount of $700 million (approximately Rs 6,286 crore). This will be among the biggest purchases that TCS has ever made.

Established in 2012, Coastal Cloud is a consulting firm focused on Salesforce that specializes in large-scale enterprise transformations across multiple clouds.

It offers AI-driven advisory and business consulting services to assist clients in re-envisioning Sales, Service, Marketing, Revenue, CPQ, Commerce, and Salesforce Data Cloud. Coastal Cloud, a Salesforce Summit Partner, emphasizes creating strong customer connections and collaborations.

Coastal Cloud holds nominations on the Salesforce Partner Advisory Board, allowing it to influence product innovations and create services needed for new launches. Coastal Cloud is headed by Eric Berridge, a Salesforce expert who has developed and expanded Salesforce services businesses.

In October 2025, TCS enhanced its Salesforce capabilities through the acquisition of ListEngage, a Summit Partner known for its expertise in Agentforce, Marketing, and Commerce Cloud. Through Coastal Cloud, TCS has enhanced its Salesforce advisory and business consulting expertise across various sectors worldwide by incorporating over 400 experienced professionals holding more than 3,000 multi-cloud certifications.
