The upcoming Aadhaar app in development will enable paperless identity sharing and provide the option to verify and share complete or selective information associated with the unique identity, according to reports.

The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) held an insightful webinar on 'Offline Verification using the Aadhaar App' prior to the official release of the new Aadhaar App, which saw participation from more than 250 organizations and individuals across different sectors, as per reports.

"New Aadhaar application will enable paperless identity sharing, allowing users to verify and share full or partial Aadhaar details, along with Aadhaar updates," the report indicated.
