In the context of fluctuations in worldwide fuel costs, Vingroup has unveiled a unique “Trade Gas for Electric” initiative in Vietnam, India, Indonesia, and the Philippines.

The initiative provides an extra 3 percent discount on VinFast automobiles and a 5 percent discount on VinFast electric scooters for customers transitioning from older gasoline cars.

Simultaneously, ticket prices for Xanh SM services will be lowered by 10 percent from March 11 to March 31, 2026, based on each market.

In addition to the current incentives, customers who transition from old gasoline cars to new VinFast electric vehicles during the program will receive an extra 3 percent discount on cars and a 5 percent discount on scooters. The initiative will be implemented in all four markets: Vietnam, India, Indonesia, and the Philippines.

Reflecting VinFast's innovative approach, GSM Green and Smart Mobility Joint Stock Company has declared an instant 10 percent fare decrease for electric mobility services on the Xanh SM platform in Vietnam and Green SM in Indonesia, effective from March 11 to March 31, 2026. This initiative provides clients with a greener and more affordable transportation choice.

The program could be prolonged based on global events and upcoming shifts in fuel prices.
