Wipro: Pierre Bruno takes Charge as Chief Executive Officer in Europe

Wipro Limited, a leading global information technology, consulting and business process services company, places Pierre Bruno as Chief Executive Offer, Europe.

“Pierre brings 25 years of experience in the IT infrastructure consulting and Services sector. He has managed business in both hyper-growth environments and in engineering transformation.

With his experience of leading large teams, Pierre is well positioned to drive Wipro’s growth journey in Europe”, said Thierry Delaporte, CEO and Managing Director, Wipro Limited.

Earlier Bruno was operating in DXC Technology as its Vice President and Managing Director of Southern Europe, where he looked after all that is associated with business and also took care of consulting, integration, apps, cloud and cyber security. He also spent 14 years of his career at Dell where he played multiple roles across Asia Pacific, Japan and EMEA, in which his role served vital in Dell’s transformation from selling hardware to becoming a major player in providing infrastructure solutions.

Six distinct regions in Europe will be headed by Bruno.

This appointment showcases the company’s brave feat in its continued investment and its focus on the European market and through which it will shape its momentum across the region in recent years.

Wipro’s European web spreads across six regions which consist of UK and Ireland, Germany, Switzerland, Nordics, Benelux and Southern Europe, including three near-shore delivery locations and lastly consists of an array of marquee clients from industries, of which most are helped by the company to transform at scale.
